"Achieving the Vision of a World Free of Nuclear Weapons", Oslo 26 - 27 february

Achieving a world free of nuclear weapons is no less than a historic challenge which involves safeguarding our human future.

Future generations will either condemn us for our failure or – as I hope – revere us for our success in achieving this goal, Foreign Minister Støre said in his address to the international conference Achieving the Vision of a World Free of Nuclear Weapons, which was held in Oslo on 26–27 February. The aim of the conference was to explore how states can contribute to achieving the vision of a world free of nuclear weapons.

The conference website http://disarmament.nrpa.no/  contains all written contributions which were delivered, as well as photos and videos.
