30th International Conference of the Red Cross and Red Crescent. Statement delivered by Director General Rolf Einar Fife.

Norway gives full support to the objectives of the Conference, and stresses that existing humanitarian rules remain fully applicable today. This does not exclude a need for new rules in specific areas, and Norway supports President Kellenberger in urging governments that support the Oslo declaration to continue their efforts. Read more
