Ambassador Johansen begins search for new WTO boss

The process of finding a new Director General officialy begins 1 December. Candidates will be interviewed by Members in General Council meetings in early 2013.

Former Trade minister of Ghana, Alan John Kyerematen, and the current trade minister of New Zealand, Tim Groser, are the only two candidates who have publicly announced their interest so far, but more candidates are expected to make themselves know in the coming months.
